Medical disclaimer

Last updated: October 4, 2026

The information on this website is general and indicative. It is not a diagnosis, medical advice or an offer of treatment and does not replace a consultation with a doctor.

1. Every procedure carries risks

Cosmetic surgery, dental and hair treatments are medical procedures with possible risks and complications. Suitability, results, how long effects last and recovery vary from person to person and are assessed by the treating specialist after reviewing your case. We do not guarantee specific results.

2. Our role

Medarmenia is a medical travel coordinator: we are not a clinic and do not provide healthcare. Treatment is carried out in Armenia by independent clinics and professionals licensed by the Armenian health authorities, under that country’s rules. The doctor-patient relationship is established directly with them.

3. Check before you decide

  • That the specialist holds the qualifications and a valid licence for the procedure, and shows them to you.
  • That you receive a written quote stating what is and is not included, plus information on risks and alternatives, in a language you understand.
  • That you sign informed consent only after your questions have been answered by the doctor.
  • Who handles complications and check-ups, and how you will be looked after once back home.
  • That you have travel insurance with medical and cancellation cover suited to surgery.
  • That you allow enough time to stay and rest after the procedure, and that your doctor confirms when you can fly.

4. What applies in Spain and what does not

The safeguards and requirements that apply to Spanish clinics (facilities authorised by their regional health authority, health advertising subject to authorisation, complaints to the Spanish health administration) do not automatically extend to treatment carried out in Armenia. That is why it matters to verify the points above and keep all documentation.

5. Emergencies

In an emergency or if you have severe symptoms, call your local emergency number straight away (112 in Spain and the EU) or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use the website form for emergencies.

6. Content review

Blog articles are educational and may be awaiting review by a healthcare professional. Always consult your doctor.
